Steps to replace the IPhone X battery.
1. Turn off your phone and remove the SIM card tray.
2. Use a Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two fixing screws at the bottom of the phone.
3. Press the suction cup onto the screen (bottom), gently pull upwards. Insert the pry tool into the gap that has been pulled out. Slide along the phone and slide the screen open.
4. Please note that the screen must be opened slowly from left to right, and must not exceed 90 degrees to avoid damaging the flexible cables.
5. Use a tri-wing screwdriver to remove the 5 screws on the metal plate.
6. Disconnect the battery cable first, then disconnect the screen flexible cables A and B, then disconnect the earpiece flexible cable, now you can separate the screen from the body.
7. Gently remove the adhesive tape with tweezers. Remove the battery.
8. Take out the new battery and place it in the casing. Reconnect the flexible cables in the reverse order of the previous steps (the battery is the last to be connected!). Check if the screen functions and charging is normal.
9. If possible, disconnect the battery cable first, followed by the screen flexible cables A and B, then disconnect the earpiece flexible cable.
10. Place the adhesive tape on the back of the new battery, then peel off the outer protective film of the adhesive tape, and slowly insert the new battery into the phone body. It is recommended to align the battery interface correctly first, then align the entire battery, and gently press it into the body.
11. Place the new waterproof adhesive, press around, peel off the protective film from the middle and then from the four sides.
12. Connect the earpiece speaker flexible cable, screen flexible cables A and B, and then connect the battery cable.
13. Secure the 5 screws with a tri-wing screwdriver and install the metal plate.
14. Install the screen and push it onto the casing. Finally, secure the two fixing screws at the bottom of the phone.
