Smartphones

Lithium batteries are widely used across numerous sectors, with smartphones being one of the most prominent. As smartphone capabilities continue to expand—such as HD video playback, high-performance gaming, and fast web browsing—these power-intensive features place increasing demands on battery performance. Thanks to their high energy density, long cycle life, and low self-discharge rate, lithium batteries have become the key component to meet these advanced power needs.

Beyond smartphones, lithium batteries are also being rapidly adopted in other portable electronic devices. Examples include tablets, smartwatches, Bluetooth earphones, and wireless speakers—all of which require high-performance lithium batteries to support extended use and multifunctional operations. The maturity of lithium battery technology and manufacturing has provided strong support for these emerging application areas.

Furthermore, with the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), lithium battery technology is increasingly penetrating the automotive sector. Although EV batteries are much larger than those used in smartphones, the accumulated expertise in energy management, fast charging, and safety protection from consumer electronics has become a valuable foundation for the development of EV battery systems.
